Something's Afoot is a playful, contemporary painting inspired by the wonderfully curious nature of cats.

A watchful cream cat sits quietly amongst a landscape of softly layered colour, surrounded by an irresistible collection of birds. With its slightly suspicious expression and mismatched eyes, there’s a sense that this cat knows something we don’t.

Muted blues, dusty pinks, soft greens and earthy neutrals create a gentle, harmonious palette, while the simplified forms and hand-painted details give the work a charming folk-art quality.

Whimsical and a little mysterious, Something's Afoot was created to bring personality, warmth and a touch of humour to a space.
