A weathered cottage home sits boldly in its surroundings. Fields and green go for miles and birds fly high in the sky. This painting was inspired by my love of open spaces and calm.

Currently, I am focused on painting some gorgeous, moody landscapes in my current work. I am strongly influenced by places and landscapes that are peaceful, melancholy and evoke a feeling of home to me. Farm landscapes are always so charming and make the perfect focal points of my paintings. I hope you enjoy this piece. The scene is painted in Rochelle's unique watercolour style.
