Two forgotten farmhouses sit forlorn, no longer used but they stand solid with a worn exposed exterior and are evident of times past. This scene was painted with watercolour in a soft painterly style. A love of representing our homes in this spacious country is always an influence in my art. I hope this piece brings feelings of warmth and enjoyment.

Currently, I am focused on painting some gorgeous, moody landscapes and still lifes in my current work. I am strongly influenced by places and things that are peaceful, melancholy and evoke a feeling of home to me.
